Thank you to everyone who helped make our Live Innovation Event at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing a success earlier this week.
In February, TEAM Engineering & Siemens PLM Software ran 2 linked events; the first on FE Analysis, the second on FE Analysis & the use of NX at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
The webinar focused on mesh centric analysis. We had a full house watching the showcase and many questions based around Femap. We covered FEA from an industry perspective but focused on Femap as it has many features that many engineers would classify as ‘key must have’s’ such as; CAD neutral, having geometry preparation/clean up/idealization, being mesh-centric, solver independent simulation, extensive results review tools and so on. The feedback received was positive as Femap 11.4 had only recently been released so there was plenty to cover as Femap is a platform constantly being developed.
The second event was held at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. Here ourselves and Siemens PLM Software took 30 guests through a day focused one engineering excellence and how certain solutions were used and why. We explored the usage of Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM and showcased how effective they can be when leveraged. From fast, versatile designing to flawless change management in a PLM setting, our guests saw what can be achieved by implementing Siemens NX & Teamcenter software in the revolutionary, world leading setting that is Aston Martin Red Bull Racing.
