RML GROUP and TEAM Engineering in new partnership

There’s a powerful new force on the track following the decision by leading high performance automotive engineering group and reigning World Touring Car Champions RML to select TEAM Engineering as an official technology partner for its vehicle programmes.

The RML name represents a passion for cars and with a thirty-year heritage of excellence, the high performance automotive engineering company is respected for its exacting standards, as well as its competitive prowess. Nurturing homegrown talent and promoting teamwork, RML applies its expertise to powertrain and chassis development as well as concept vehicles and high performance road and competition cars.

After success in multiple Championships around the World, with numerous manufacturer partners, RML is defending its title in the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 it won the Manufacturers’ and Teams’ Championships and has recently beaten BMW’s all time record of most laps led and highest number of fastest laps in WTCC competition.

RML’s in-house team, which has also designed, developed and built some of the most efficient and successful race engines in the world, uses NX and Teamcenter from Siemens PLM for CAD/CAE/CAM and product lifecycle management. TEAM Engineering, the longest established Siemens reseller in the UK, has been working with RML for two years and this agreement signals a new level of technical support for NX and Teamcenter across all areas of RML’s business.
